Privacy Policy

Praxis™ ("we", "us", "our") is operated by Systimus™ LLC. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, how we store it, and your rights regarding that data.
1. Data We Collect
When you use Praxis™, we collect the following categories of data:
- Account information — email address and authentication credentials.
- Conversation content — messages exchanged with your AI sleeve via native chat or MCP-connected agents.
- Behavioral dimensions — the nine personality dimension values you configure for each sleeve.
- Memory corpus — facts, preferences, and patterns your sleeve learns across conversations.
- Token usage — aggregate counts of AI model tokens consumed, used for billing and rate limiting.
- Session data — IP address, user agent, and session timestamps for authentication and security.
2. How We Use Your Data
- To provide and personalize the Praxis™ service — delivering AI responses shaped by your sleeve configuration and memory.
- To enforce usage limits and process billing through our payment provider.
- To maintain security — detecting unauthorized access, preventing abuse, and enforcing rate limits.
- To improve the service — aggregated, anonymized usage patterns may inform product decisions. We do not use your conversation content or memory data for model training.
3. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on infrastructure hosted by Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the United States. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256). Conversation embeddings are stored using pgvector with HNSW indexing on encrypted PostgreSQL databases.
We apply defense-in-depth security measures including forced SSL, content security policies, rate limiting, and automated PII scanning of stored content.
4. Data Retention and Deletion
- Conversation messages are automatically scrubbed after 30 days. Message metadata (timestamps, token counts) is retained; content is replaced with a redaction marker.
- Ephemeral memories with expiration dates are automatically purged daily after they expire.
- Account deletion permanently removes all your data — messages, conversations, memories, sleeves, API tokens, and sessions — in dependency order. This process is irreversible.
5. Third-Party Services
We share data with the following third-party services only as necessary to operate Praxis™:
- AWS Bedrock — conversation content is sent to AI models (Claude by Anthropic) for processing. AWS Bedrock does not retain your data for model training. See AWS Bedrock FAQs.
- Stripe — email address and payment information are shared with Stripe for subscription billing. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
We do not sell your data to any third party. We do not use your data for advertising.
6. GitHub Integration
If you connect your GitHub account, Praxis reads only the following data to map AI spend to real engineering outcomes:
- Pull request metadata — titles, descriptions, merge status, line counts
- Commit history — SHAs, authors, timestamps, and messages
- Repository names and default branch
Praxis does not read source code file contents, write to or modify any repository, open issues, comment on pull requests, or trigger workflows. GitHub's consent screen will describe the requested scope as “Full control of private repositories” — that wording comes from GitHub because the platform does not offer a read-only equivalent for private repository metadata. We are migrating to a GitHub App that will ask for granular read-only permissions instead. You can disconnect GitHub at any time from your integration settings, and disconnecting revokes Praxis's token immediately.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your data — export a complete copy of your account data from your account settings.
- Correct your data — update your sleeve configurations, memories, and account information at any time.
- Delete your data — permanently delete your account and all associated data from your account settings.
- Object to processing — contact us to discuss concerns about how your data is used.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of Praxis™ after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
