Getting Started
What is Praxis™?
Praxis™ is a personal AI configuration platform. It learns your communication style, preferences, and expertise so every AI interaction feels tailored to you — not generic.
How do I set up my first sleeve?
After signing up and verifying your email, take the personality quiz from your dashboard. Praxis™ uses your answers to generate a sleeve — your AI personality profile. You can fine-tune it anytime from the sleeve settings page.
What is the personality quiz?
A short series of questions that map your communication preferences across 9 dimensions — the four that define your archetype (risk, creativity, directness, initiative) and five more that shape how the AI expresses itself (structure, verbosity, collaboration, depth, autonomy). Your answers seed your sleeve so the AI starts with a baseline that matches how you think.
Can I use Praxis™ without taking the quiz?
Yes. You can skip the quiz and manually configure your sleeve dimensions, or start chatting right away with the default configuration.
Sleeves & Customization
What is a sleeve?
A sleeve is your AI personality profile. It stores your dimension scores, memories, skills, and preferences. Think of it as the configuration layer between you and the AI model.
Can I have multiple sleeves?
Yes. Pro and higher plans support multiple sleeves. You might create one for work communication and another for personal use, each with different tone and style preferences.
What are dimensions?
Dimensions are the personality axes that shape how your AI communicates. Praxis uses 9 dimensions total: four primary axes (risk, creativity, directness, initiative) that combine to produce one of 16 archetypes, plus five individuality dimensions (structure, verbosity, collaboration, depth, autonomy) that make every sleeve within an archetype feel distinct.
How do I change my sleeve settings?
Go to your dashboard and click on the sleeve you want to edit. From there you can adjust dimension sliders, manage memories, and configure skills.
Billing & Plans
What plans are available?
Praxis™ offers Free, Pro, and Pro Max plans for individuals, plus Organization plans for teams. Visit the pricing page for a full feature comparison.
How do I upgrade or downgrade?
Go to Billing in the navigation. You can upgrade immediately or schedule a downgrade at the end of your current billing period.
What happens if a payment fails?
You'll receive an email notification with a link to update your payment method. Your account remains active during a short grace period. If the payment isn't resolved, your plan reverts to Free.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Your data is retained for 30 days after cancellation in case you want to resubscribe.
Data & Privacy
What data does Praxis™ store?
Praxis™ stores your account information, sleeve configuration (dimensions, memories, skills), and conversation history. We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
Can I export my data?
Yes. Go to Account settings and use the "Export Data" option to download your complete profile, sleeve configurations, and conversation history in JSON format.
Can I delete my account?
Yes. Go to Account settings and select "Delete Account." Your login will be revoked and you'll receive a confirmation email. Contact support@systimus.io if you need to recover your account.
Where is my data hosted?
Praxis™ runs on AWS infrastructure in the US. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Connect & API
What is Connect?
Connect lets you generate API tokens so external tools — like Claude Code, Cursor, or any MCP-compatible client — can use your Praxis™ sleeve. Your AI personality follows you across tools.
How do I connect an MCP client?
Most MCP clients (Claude Code, Cursor, ChatGPT, Codex, GitHub Copilot) support OAuth — just add the Praxis MCP URL to your config and your browser will open to authorize. No token needed. For clients that don't support OAuth, generate a token on the Connect page and add it as a Bearer credential. The Connect page shows the exact configuration for each client.
How does memory work?
Praxis™ is a central store for your AI's memories and configuration. When your AI connects, it pulls your sleeve config and behavioral loop into the current session. As you talk, it pushes conversations back to Praxis™ for memory distillation — transmitting the full content of each exchange to Praxis servers so preferences, facts, and patterns can be extracted. Those memories are available in every future session, across every connected tool. What your AI learns in Claude Code is there when you open Cursor. The memory MCP is content-bearing by design; see the proxy FAQ below for the token-only alternative.
What's the difference between the memory MCP and the proxy?
Two surfaces, two data contracts. The memory MCP (Connect page) is content-bearing — it transmits your full conversation exchanges to Praxis servers so memories can be distilled and shared across sessions and tools. The proxy (Help → Praxis Proxy) is token-only — it reads token counts, model IDs, and timestamps from your AI traffic but never transmits prompt or completion content. Use the memory MCP when you want cross-tool learning. Use the proxy when you want exact cost tracking without sending content. You can run either, both, or neither.
My agent forgot my preferences
First, ask your AI to pull from Praxis — it may have started a session without loading your config. Then check the Intelligence tab on your dashboard to see if your preferences were extracted as memories. If they're there but not surfacing, the AI may need a more specific prompt. If they're missing, make sure conversations are being pushed — tell your AI to push this conversation to Praxis, then check again.
